Terms and Conditions for Birth Balance Antenatal Classes

Welcome to Birth Balance! Thank you for choosing us to support you on your pregnancy journey. As a small business, we are deeply committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based, and inclusive antenatal education in a warm and supportive environment. Below are the terms and conditions for our courses. By booking with us, you agree to the following:

1. General Information

• Birth Balance courses are designed to provide education and support during pregnancy, labour, and birth.

• The information provided in our courses is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. We strongly encourage all participants to consult their healthcare provider regarding any pregnancy or health-related concerns.

2. Limitation of Liability

• While we strive to provide accurate, up-to-date, and evidence-based information, Birth Balance and its instructors cannot be held liable for any complications or outcomes related to labour, birth, or pregnancy.

• Your healthcare decisions remain your responsibility, and our courses are intended to complement—not replace—medical advice from your healthcare provider.

3. Payments

• Full payment is required before the commencement of your first session. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate payment plans at this time.

4. Refund Policy

• Refunds will not be provided for change of mind once payment has been made.

• Refunds for medical reasons may be considered, excluding elective or emergency cesarean births, as the course content remains relevant to your parenting journey.

• If your course finishes after your 37th week of pregnancy, we cannot offer refunds for sessions you are unable to attend due to labour or birth.

• In the event of a premature birth, a partial refund may be offered at the course leader’s discretion.

5. Missed Sessions

• Missed sessions are non-refundable. However, we will send you a follow-up email containing a summary of the session content so you don’t miss out on any vital information.

6. Course Content and Materials

• All course materials, handouts, and content are copyrighted and provided solely for the use of course participants. They must not be copied, shared, or distributed without prior permission.

7. Code of Conduct

• We aim to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants. Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated, and we reserve the right to remove any participant who does not adhere to this.

8. Changes to Courses

• We reserve the right to make changes to course dates, times, or content where necessary. In the unlikely event of a cancellation by Birth Balance, participants will be offered an alternative course or a full refund.
